Help a friend move

Offer to pet-sit for your friend for free

Write a poem for a friend

Treat a friend to the movies for no reason

Make a CD of your favourite songs and give to a friend

Introduce them to another friend – help them develop a new friendship

Help a friend hunt for a job

Give your friend a hug, touch their arm, or pat them on the back.

Cheer up a friend who needs it. Take them out to lunch and listen to them.

Bring a security guard a hot cup of coffee

Be kind to someone you dislike

Tell someone you've fought with that you're sorry and that you forgive them

Buy lemonade from a kid’s lemonade stand

Come to the rescue of someone in need

Drop kindness bombs: leave small scraps of paper with positive messages on them in library books

Leave kindness stones at the park

Say "good morning" and "thank you" to public service workers

Donate colouring books and crayons to the children’s hospital

Create activity bags for families of deployed soldiers

Buy five extra cans of soup or vegetables at the store and drop them off at a local center.
