Gangadhara Tilak Katnam is the owner of “Shramadaan” foundation which works on improving roads in Hyderabad by filling potholes. He started “Shramadaan” foundation when he witnessed accidents taking place due to potholes, and saw young people losing their lives, and some becoming handicapped. Tilak left his software job and went on a mission of filling potholes, since the Government did not consider the issue. He filled them using his pension, and now the foundation is supported by many volunteers. He is known as the “Doctor of Roads”and “True Legend of Hyderabad”. Shramadaan has been recognised at an internation level and Tilak has been appreciated for his efforts. He has spread kindness by taking the responsibility of improving the condititon of roads and saving lives of the innocent.
