Sri Sri University is an innovative university in Odisha founded by Shri Shri Ravi Shanker with a motto to Learn, Lead and Serve.
This university, guided by its motto has taken up the initiative to lend a helping hand in the hour of need towards the unforseen crisis of COVID 19.
The university in collaboration with International Association for Human Values (IAHV) has started distributing food material to the needy in the villages around the institution.
They have been preparing thousands of packets containing food and essentials. Each packet comprises of 4kg rice, 2 kg dal, 2 soaps, and 4 packs of biscuits. A total of 5000 packets has been distributed to the needy benefiting about 5000 families. Along with this, 2000 more packets have been given to Cuttack District Administration, the local governing body in the state of Odisha. Furthermore, 500 packets of the same has been dispatched to the city of temples, Bhubaneswar.
Not only did the staff members contributed but the students as well contributed wholeheartedly to make their university’s initiative a success.
